Primorsky Aquarium

25, Academician Kasyanov st., Russky Island

Located on Russky Island (Zhitkov Peninsula). Opened in 2016. The main building of the aquarium is made like a white bivalve seashell protruding from the blue sea waters. It has a total area of 37,000 m². There are expositions and scientific laboratories.

In the left wing of the aquarium is the main reservoir, with a 70-meter underwater tunnel for visitors. In the east wing there is a dolphinarium with an arena and stands for spectators. The total volume of water in the aquarium is almost 25,000 cubic meters. The main building has 135 aquariums for 500 species of fish and mammals.
